Church Council

A parish church is run by its ‘trustees’ – the Parish Church Council. This body is elected at the annual general church meeting, and members help to facilitate the work of the church and steer its future. They also act as an accountability body to ensure clarity in financial oversight and of matters of fabric, safeguarding etc. People think that this might be dull, but there is always prayer, often wine, and it is a great way to play a part in the life of the church!
