This year: Saturday November 30th, 11am – 2pm, hamper raffle drawn at 1.30pm (tickets available up until 1pm)
A now regular feature of the calendar, and indeed highlighted in the Shields Gazette as one of the 5 Christmas Markets to head for (thank you 🙂 ) this is one of our main fundraising days for the ministry we offer our village and community throughout the year. But more importantly, it’s about being able to support local artists, craftspeople and artisans, and charity work with children in Bethlehem itself.
You can stock up on almost anything, from stocking fillers to really beautiful individual gifts, grab a bargain in vintage or something truly unique to keep. There’s a lucky dip for the little ones and children’s activity in the hall. Refreshments abound, from winter warmers and luscious cake to mulled wine to get you in the spirit of Christmas. No little German-market style huts (yet?!) but come along and spend some time browsing, buying, enjoying the atmosphere, listening to some carols and maybe leaving a prayer for your own family for Christmas.
All are welcome – entry is free. Please pick up an invitation to all the Christmas services and begin Christmas with the Parish Church.
