Join us in spirit to journey (full social distancing) with Jesus to Jerusalem and the Cross
It is with regret that our public worship is suspended and baptisms, weddings and funerals curtailed due to the Coronavirus CoVid-19
Please bear with us as we explore this opportunity to nurture and develop our faith and relationships in our community!
St Peter’s is the vibrant, inclusive, welcoming church in Harton Village – your Church of England Parish Church. We live to love, serve and show God to those around us. We are grateful to belong to Him and we would love to share Him with you.
There is lots of information on our website, but we would rather meet you in person. Come along to a service, an event, or get in touch. We can’t wait to get to know you, and for you to get to know God.
Please note, that detailed info on the current situation re all of our activities can be found on the CoVid-19 page. We have not edited all the others, in the hope that we will need them back before too long! And we would love you to know who we are, however, almost everything is suspended, so please see the dedicated page for info. For the moment we have postponed baptisms and the booking of baptisms.
All are welcome as we make our journey to Jerusalem with Jesus, to the Cross, as Lent turns into Holy Week.
Advice and guidance is of course changing regularly. Here we outline the steps we are currently taking to keep everyone safe. This page will be frequently reviewed.
In these uncertain times, please be assured that though the doors of the church building may be closed, prayer continues in and for the parish.
We try to offer worship here to suit everyone. Some services are quiet and reflective; others are more lively, accompanied by choir, band, piano or organ.
Being together and sharing happy and sad times is important to us as a community. From BBQs or afternoon tea to quizzes, art talks or going to the dogs, we love it!
We aim to live and deepen our faith at St Peter’s. We long to grow more into God, to strengthen our capacity to witness to him and to serve his people in love.
St Peter’s welcomes all ages to love, serve and grow. Do learn more about what’s on offer for our younger members, children and teens.
Journeying with God is a lifetime occupation. We invest in our children and young people, so why should we not equally invest in our more senior members?
We’d love to get to know you, before you come or after you’ve been to visit. You can always contact us via social media or drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
